It is not a tough job. In fact, I have been using  HDMI switches to my Smart TV for a better entertainment experience.

  • First, you should connect hdmi cable’s one end to the hdmi output port of the HDMI switch.
  • Then connect the other corner of the cable to an available port on your Samsung Led.
  • Now you can Connect the HDMI devices you want to use.
  • At last turn on the TV and use its remote control to select the appropriate HDMI input

Do HDMI Switches Use External Power?

If you have a basic HDMI switch with just a few input ports, it gets the power through the cables connected to devices. However, if you’re using a larger HDMI switch with more input ports. Or if it has advanced features like 4K support or automatic switching. Then it may need its own power supply. If it is, then, you have to connect it to an electrical outlet using a separate power adapter. I always check the product’s specifications and instructions.

Do HDMI Switches Switch Automatically?

Some HDMI switch devices have automatic input switching. Many of these switches can automatically select the last-used HDMI input when it is powered on.
