The Sikorsky S-76D SAR helicopter (search and rescue) is based on the S76D helicopter, the latest member of the S76 helicopter family produced by Sikorsky Aircraft. The helicopter is for the missions of SAR, homeland security, and airborne law enforcement.

The solid-state aircraft data system provides cockpit data, which uses a dual-trimmed heading reference system, AHRS, and a dual air data computer.
